Our story

Artemis Grey is a Montréal-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, objects and collaboration.

For eighteen years, colour and transformation were explored through another material practice. Painting did not replace that history; the canvas expanded it.

The work is built through accumulation, abrasion, concealment and return. Colour is layered, disrupted and exposed again. Surfaces move between softness and damage, control and instinct, serenity and rage.
